Every pigeon in Pigeon Pedigree Pro can be downloaded as a PDF pedigree certificate. It shows 4 generations (the pigeon, its parents, grandparents and great-grandparents) with ring numbers and names, your loft and contact details, and a Pigeon Pedigree Pro watermark, formatted for A4 landscape printing.
PDF export works the same on every plan, with no monthly limit. The certificate always shows up to 4 generations. Premium lets you explore up to 8 generations in the on-screen tree.
Step-by-Step
Open the Pedigree Tree
From your pigeon list, click on the pigeon you want to export. On the pigeon detail page, click View Pedigree Tree — or navigate to Pedigree in the sidebar and select the pigeon there.
Click "Download PDF"
At the top of the pedigree tree page, click the Download PDF button. The PDF generates server-side in 1–3 seconds and downloads automatically to your device.
Print or Share the Certificate
Open the downloaded PDF in any PDF viewer. Print on A4 paper (landscape orientation is set automatically). Or attach the PDF to an email, WhatsApp message, or your sale listing.
PIGEON PEDIGREE PROSharing with buyers: Pair the PDF with a public share link so buyers can click through to the live, interactive pedigree tree. The link shows real-time data — the PDF is a point-in-time snapshot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add my own loft logo to the PDF?
Not yet. Your loft name and contact details appear in the PDF footer (set them in Settings), and the watermark is the Pigeon Pedigree Pro logo.
The PDF is missing some generations
Only generations where ancestor data exists will appear in the PDF. If a grandparent hasn't been added to your database yet, their box will appear empty (or not at all). Add the missing ancestors first, then regenerate the PDF.
Can I generate PDFs in bulk?
Not at the moment. PDFs are generated one pigeon at a time; each takes a couple of seconds.
Why does the PDF show fewer generations than my tree?
The certificate is designed to fit 4 generations legibly on one A4 page. Premium users can still view up to 8 generations in the on-screen tree.
