Add pigeons, link parents, and navigate your multi-generation family tree inside Pigeon Pedigree Pro.
A pedigree tree in Pigeon Pedigree Pro is built by linking pigeons together as father and mother. Once linked, the system automatically traverses all the relationships and displays a full multi-generation view. The more pigeons you have in your database, the deeper the tree can go.
Free plan supports up to 4-generation trees. Silver and above unlock 6–10 generations. The tree depth is only limited by the data you've entered — there's no cap on how many ancestors a pigeon can have.
Go to Pigeons → Add Pigeon. Enter the ring number, name, sex, breed, and year. Ring number is the only required field. Click Save.
Repeat step 1 for the father pigeon. If the father is already in your loft (e.g. he's one of your own birds), you don't need to add him again — he'll appear in the search when you link parents.
Same as above — add or confirm the mother is already in your database. Make sure her sex is set to Female (V) so she appears in the Mother field search.
Open the subject pigeon's edit page (Pigeons → [Pigeon Name] → Edit). Use the Father and Mother search dropdowns to find and select the correct parents. Click Save.
Tip: You can search by ring number or name in the parent dropdowns. If a parent isn't showing up, check that their sex is set correctly — females only appear in the Mother field, males in the Father field.
Go to Pedigree → [Pigeon Name] or click View Tree from any pigeon's detail page. The tree renders automatically, traversing all linked ancestors. Each box shows ring number, name, sex, and year.

To add grandparents, open the father's edit page and link his parents (the subject's paternal grandparents). Do the same for the mother. The tree automatically updates — no manual tree-building required.
From the pedigree tree view, click Download PDF to generate a print-ready A4 certificate, or click Share to create a permanent public link for buyers and other breeders.
No — the system prevents circular references. You cannot set a pigeon as a parent of itself or any of its descendants.
Each loft is isolated. To include a pigeon from another breeder's loft in your tree, add that pigeon to your own database with their ring number. You can mark the status as "purchased" to distinguish outside birds.
Yes — the pedigree tree view is responsive. On small screens it scrolls horizontally to show all generations.
